  • What time is check in?

    Our check-in time begins at 3pm and ends promptly at 9pm. Please kindly inform us in advance of your estimated arrival time.


    We are pleased to offer an early check-in option starting from 12 noon for a fee of £15 per room. This service must be booked in advance and is subject to availability.



  • What time is check out?

    Our checkout time is 10:30 am. We kindly ask that you vacate your room by this time to facilitate our preparations for our next guests.


    We are delighted to provide a late check-out option until 1 pm for a fee of £20 per room. This service should be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.



  • What time is breakfast and how much does it cost?

    Our breakfast service begins at 9am and concludes at 10am, with last orders taken promptly at 9:45am.


    We offer complimentary breakfast to all guest who book directly with us. 


    The cost for breakfast is £7.50 per person per day if booked via booking.com, hotels.com, expedia or any third party website. 


    We serve a full English breakfast, as well as continental and vegetarian options to suit all tastes. Enjoy your meal with a selection of tea, coffee, and refreshing fruit juices—all included in the above price.


  • Do you accept Children?

    We are an adults-only hotel. We welcome guests aged 16 and above.



  • Do you accept pets?

    No. We only accept guide dogs. 



  • Do you have a lift?

    No, we do not have a lift at McGrath's. All rooms are accessible via stairs. Please refer to our access statement for more information.

  • Do you have disabled access?

    We do not have any ground floor rooms, but we will do our best to accommodate you. We have welcomed guests with a variety of needs, but please call us to discuss before booking your stay.

  • Do you have a bar?

    Yes, our bar is open daily from 3pm and is accessible to both residents and non-residents.


    If you have friends or family staying nearby, they are welcome to join us for drinks.

By Coach - National Express coaches arrive and depart from the station at the rear of Coral Island (less than a mile away).

We can offer private parking at a rate of £10 per day. Due to limited availability, advance reservation via email is required. Free unrestricted street parking is also accessible directly outside, although spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. Alternatively, there are two spacious public car parks nearby:
